Pål Aukrust, M.D., Ph.D.,- is Chief Physician at the Department for Clinical Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Norwegian National Hospital and runs together with Prof. Frøland a connected research laboratory with high activity.

Douglas F. Nixon, Professor, M.D., Ph.D., - is trained as a clinical virologist in the UK in parallel with his academic career. He was an Associate Investigator at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology from 2001-6 and is from 2006 Professor and Associate Chief of the Division of Experimental Medicine at University of California, San Francisco.

Dag Kvale , Professor, M.D., Ph.D. , - is Head of the Immunology Lab and Senior Consultant at Department of Infectious Diseases, Ullevål University Hospital. He is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases, with additional three years of practice in clinical Microbiology and Virology.

Amnon Altman, M.Sc., Ph.D. - did his undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Tel Aviv and the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, Israel. He joined the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, San Diego, USA, in 1990 as Member and Head of the Division of Cell Biology.

Tomas Mustelin, Professor, M.D., Ph.D. - trained at the Haartman Institute, University of Helsinki, Finland, has been Assistant and Associate Member of the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology from 1992 and full Professor from 1998 at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. His present position is Director, Program of Inflammatory Disease Research, Infectious and Inflammatory Disease Center, the Burnham Institute, La Jolla, San Diego. He also holds an adjunct position as Docent in Cell Biology at the University of Helsinki.

Michel Moutschen, Professor, M.D., Ph.D., - is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases, ‘Chef de clinique’ for the section on HIV-infectious diseases at the Department of Internal Medicine, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Liège, Belgium, and leader of the Liège Reference Center on HIV. He currently holds a position as Professor at a the Center for Immunology at the CHU de Liège.
